    Re: Lowlighthabit & BU1B22 2020 SOTS Packs

I have to use Audacity to adjust the Wrigley Field organ, I'll try and have that done today. Last year I couldn't get it loud enough, this year it's too loud.
Would the lady who left her nine kids at Wrigley Field please pick them up immediately? They are beating the Cubs 4-0 in the 7th inning!

Anyone notice the crowd noise drops out at various times during the game? I reported a bug but it seems to happen most frequently when you use left pad to see in game attributes

Here we go! I know that you can adjust the SOTS volume this year with a slider, but these are set nicely so you don't have to use it. I'm glad that they erred on the side of making these too loud because you can easily reduce the volume in the MP3 file without distortion or clipping. You can only raise the volume so much before that happens severely.

        Enjoy!

I just want to thank you guys for all the time and work that you do on sounds of the show the game is much better with the sounds you guys do for this game it really gives it a more realistic feel I think sds needs to get with you guys and give you the sounds job for this game. I’m a OAKLAND fan and one thing I’ve been looking to add to my sounds is the Oakland elephant roar but I can’t find it anywhere??? That would be so bad *** if I could get that for MLB 20!!!

If I understand your question correctly, the RP tracks (RP1, RP2 etc..) go in the team audio section. That way if a particular pitcher doesn't have an entrance song and you leave it on default it will play one of the 3 tracks at random. You can also place the RP tracks for particular pitchers if you want a certain song to play with a certain pitcher. At least, that's the way I've always done it.

Loving the packs so far. It took a few days to get it situated, but it was worth it. Played my opening series against the Diamondbacks in Arizona and it definitely added to the game experience.

Looked online and couldn't find. Find me the sound and I will get it in game for you.

OK, to everyone saying that SotS is too loud this year... it is not. For the first time since they reinstated SotS we have increased volume. Something WE ALL ASKED FOR. We have been fighting volume since inception and this year SDS listened and increased the volume for us. THANK YOU SDS! As for our files, we will not be decreasing the volume of them as they are. Some sounds are lower than others and doing a blanket-wide volume decrease will cause further issues. Our music files are Auto-Gained to a standard volume without clipping. They are not above standard on volume, they are exactly where the should be. Lowering the volume in game is the best option right now... hopefully we can get some type of in game update that separates the Cheers/Yells from all the other tracks as this would solve the issue immediately.

If they are missing from last year than the sound most likely is not being used anymore. Not sure which files you are talking about, I could give an exact answer if I knew.

There are certain sounds that were in the 2019 package that are missing from the 2020 package. I'm not sure if it's the exact same for every team or not but just by glancing over a few random teams it seems to be a similar situation. In the following image taken from the 2019 package the items highlighted in yellow are missing from the 2020 package.

A BIG-TIME pat on the back and THANK YOU to CuJoMatty, LowlightHabit and BU1B22 for an absolutely incredible job on this year’s SOTS preseason pack! Holy Cow!

Thanks to COVID-19 my office has shut down and I must “work from home” ... for the most part that work has consisted of placing SOTS mp3s for every team and almost every player of some consequence the last couple of days. The game is terrific on its own, but adding the SOTS takes it up a minimum of 7 notches!

Unreal, guys! This is the first time I added the Yankee Roll Call chants and I played the Yanks yesterday at the Stadium and thought everything about it was so damn cool!!!

                          Thanks again!

I agree. If they could just find a way to separate Cheers/Yells because you cannot hear them well. But the music is finally loud enough...

Yes I have noticed this too. For example, Brewers were missing their mid inning music files. No problem just copied them from last year.

If you look at some of the Oakland highlight videos from last year they play that sound effect the elephant roar right after a home run then the song California Love 2pac. It’s a stadium sound.
