We can't give you a tutorial because SOTS does not exist on XBOX or PS5.

How about a tutorial/refresher for PS4 ... I always worry that I'm not placing the vendor calls, chants and music cues in the right spots. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have the Xbox X and all the slots are present for music in the future. I noticed it when you edit players .

USB formatted in ex fat or fat32 (ex fat is better as it has no limits on individual file size or partition size. fat32 is limited to file sizes of 4gb and a partition size of 8gb)

Folder on the usb called MUSIC
            all files go here.

Once in game upload all the files.

Go to the playlist editor and associate the files to either music, chants or yells.

Go to the music editor. Most files have three different sections. Basically, it's like a partial song / sound effect with dead space for a bit then another partial song / effect, then more dead space etc... You have to mark each section with a time stamp so the file knows where to begin playing from. This is the part that takes a long time to do.

            (c-cc) = chant-crowd cheer
            (c-cj) = chant-crowd jeer
            (y-fc) = yell-fan cheer
            (y-fj) = yell-fan jeer

When in your home stadium you will hear the cheer files associated with your team and the jeer files associated with the away team. Playing at an away game is visa versa.

There may be a file or two that says for example (c-cc player) , those belong in the same area as batter walk up music in the corresponding chant / yell section of a specific player.

            (P) pitcher name = their personal intro music
(PWU) pitcher name = batter walk up music

            (P)RP1, 2, 3
These files are for the slots labeled pitcher entrance 1,2,3. If they have personal music associated with them those files will play instead of these.

            Files labeled for example...
ATL - Acuna 1,2,3 or Acuna, Albies, Camargo
These are the batters walk up music.

For the NYY , the roll call files belong to the person in the chant cheer section, but I don't recommend them because they are used all game , not just at the beginning.

Files labeled pregame and the FOX sports stuff are the same type of file, basically your intro music and you can pick whichever you like, maybe have a different one for the two themes.

walk , strike out , stolen base etc.. are self explanatory.

All files that aren't for a specific player are team audio files, player specific files are player audio files.

It is not required or even suggested that you upload every file for every team. There simply isn't enough space. Hand pick the files that you think you'll need. For example, there may be 9+ different pitcher entrance files for a particular team but there's only 3 slots available (6 if you have a different file for both themes) so all of them aren't necessary. Chants and yells are much more limited in total allowance compared to music files.

Some teams don't have a file for a particular type of sound, so leave it blank / default unless its a chant or yell, then you can just pick a file from another team to go in the slot to fill it out. Example, a vendor or an airplane, or leave it blank / default, that's up to you.

I highly recommend uploading and completing the files for one team at a time. It makes things much easier in game. Once you have 1 team complete, save the files you used on the usb somewhere safe and delete the files from the usb and start the next team. If something ever goes wrong, you'll have a list of all the files you used and it will make re-uploading them that much easier.

I'm writing this off the top of my head, but I think that pretty much has it covered.
