Records are made to be broken

Thought it would be interesting to have a thread to report record breaking performances. In my save, which is set in 1980, I put up both a modern and all-time Major League record with 37 runs in a game against the Blue Jays.

What insane performances have you seen? Any records broken (single game or otherwise?)?
    MLB: Minnesota Twins
    NFL: Philadelphia Eagles
    NBA: Chicago Bulls, Minnesota Timberwolves
European Football: Manchester United, Brighton & Hove Albion
    NCAA: UNI Panthers, Iowa Hawkeyes

Lol. He really tore it up for us all season. Lost the Triple Crown by less than one batting average point but won the MVP. Without him, we would have been awful. Really glad I picked him up.
