In a 43-second trailer, the first 18 seconds and final 10 seconds are intro/extro graphics. That's about two-thirds of the length of the trailer. If they're going to advertise overhauled 3D stadiums (and if they want my money), they'll have to do a little bit better than that.

Agreed. I got very excited when I saw that headline. I really want OOTP to take it to the next level visually.

Just thinking how great this game would be if the action games could be play out using The Show, these things never happen but fun to think about.

The 3D mode was already making good progress and with few tweaks it would have been all I ever need in a game like this, now reading it has gotten some major improvements gets me really excited!

Anyways first time I ever preordered a game lol.

Just thinking how great this game would be if the action games could be play out using The Show, these things never happen but fun to think about.

I can remember a time when Microsoft Baseball 2001 for the PC teamed up with Baseball Mogul for its franchise mode.

I liked that game....then I discovered High Heat...which Microsoft purchased but never used.

I usually only buy OOTP once every 2-3 years... still playing OOTP16. I don't really care about visual enhancements so long as they don't slow anything down. My favorite feature of OOTP is that I can blow through a 9 inning game in a few minutes... I disable anything that slows that pace down. That said, it's a great product that I've been buying once every 2-3 years pretty much since they started... so I'm due this year.

Man, Microsoft Baseball 2001 was the first game I ever played with a "franchise" mode like it. I remember taking the Oakland A's through several years into the future.

Then I discovered OOTP 3. Never looked back.

Totally agree. I don't buy every version of OOTP, since it pretty much maxed out for me a few years ago. The next thing for me would be for it to feature some kind of arcade aspect.
