I will probably pick this one up later today. I really just with that I had a tablet that handled the real version!

I'm really enjoying it. Not a lot of changes from previous versions but it is only 5 dollars and still plays great.

What kind of tablet do you have now? I have a Surface Pro 4 (mid model) and it's pretty good with these games. I guess it's more PC than tablet though.

Honestly, what I do is just use a remote access app and use that to play OOTP on my PC through my phone if I ever have the time and am wanting OOTP on the go. I personally use TeamViewer since it is free and I can setup a permanent password to be able to consistently access my PC. I'll fire up a game through my phone before class starts, then an hour later during the break I'll read the recap and then start another one up. I just spent 10 minutes in my car in the parking garage doing whatever I could to possibly get a trade to go through and no luck.

I had massive issues with game saves last year. I read I wasn't alone. Have those been fixed? Sometimes progress wouldn't save. Other times it would sim a few more days than I would ask. I lost confidence in the thing really quickly.

Have these issues been resolved in the new version?

I was going to buy this but there are so many bad reviews that I was scared off. Couldn't believe it was made by the same company that makes the much-raved-about OOTP.

Where are these "so many bad reviews"? A bit judgmental for someone who hasn't played the game I would say.

I can only speak from personal experience and say the game plays great on my iPhone.

If "judgmental" refers to me, I'm not judging anything, I haven't even tried it. I'm just saying what I saw. A 3.3 average review on a game is abysmally bad.

A 3.3 average from the general public would be considered average at worst. Calling that abysmal is over reacting. Especially for someone who has admitted they haven't played the game. Don't get angry. I'm just saying.

3.3 on the marketplace is bad....

A 3.3 rating on Google Play is abysmal. Period. It doesn't matter whether I have played the game or not. If your game has 3.3 on Google Play, there's something very wrong with the game, with your marketing, with your PR, and/or something else. Sorry that you seem to be taking this so personally but that's the truth of the matter.

I never said anything at all about how I personally felt about the game. I said that the reviews indicate that a lot of people are unhappy with the product, which I found surprising given the overwhelmingly positive reviews of OOTP. This gives me reason to suspect there is some sort of disconnect between the development of OOTP and that mobile game.

There are numerous comments about progress not being saved, which seems like something that needs to be addressed. Also numerous comments about the game simply being recycled with few changes from year to year, indicating a lack of development resources.

Rating is now down to 3.2 now, by the way. Search for "baseball" in the app section there and tell me how many you find above or below 3.2.

Just picked it up earlier today. Only messed around with it for like 20 minutes so far.
