Thanks for the review Bob! I've been playing OOTP and The Show all weekend and enjoy them both for entirely different reasons. OOTP allows me to put on the hat of a GM to the extreme and The Show allows me to test my reaction time and stick skills.

I love playing OOTP on my laptop while chillin' on my couch. I often use the Runner in Scoring Position option to watch games at lightning speeds. The "one pitch" option is something I would love to see in The Show's manager mode so hopefully one day they implement it.

All in all, I recommend it to new/old OOTP'ers!

Perfect team is an absolute blast! It is by far and away the best card collecting mode Ive played. Its like an online franchise mode and super fun seeing the cards you collect have stats and find the different ways to play.

There are tournaments with both level caps (Bronze only rosters, Silver Only, etc...) and caps which total your Ovr and you have to keep it under which make it very easy to play without having to spend.   You also don't have to grind it, you can play the mode for 10 minutes and go back to your main game.

You can customize your BP to be hitter friendly, pitcher friendly, Lefty friendly so you can build your roster around that so you can keep up with some of the huge spending teams.  Overall fantastic mode and the caps to the tournaments really make you not feel like youre playing a pay to win game.

      Go Lions, Wings and Wolverines!

Any fellow OS’ers interested in joining a public tournament together? I’m thinking a Bronze tourney.

As far as the game being so deep that it's overwhelming...mannnnnnnnn I'll take that any day of the week over bare bones lol. I know this is a PC Sim-based game; but if there ever was a game that could put a $59.99 price tag on it and you get a bang for your buck, this would be it. We get to play it for basically half of that every year!! Amazing!
