Now THIS is the ULTIMATE ROSTER PROJECT

I have no idea if this could be done as im not good with computers at all, BUT.... All-Star Baseball 2005 has to be the best Baseball game ever i think BUT u cant update rosters when not in a franchise or w/e...

sumone who understands computers, and has a modded xbox, has to crack the game so we can edit everything on our computers, then load it onto the game and BOOM, best baseball game this yr...

      u dont think it is?

sum pitchers pitches are off, but look at mvp before roster updates by ppl and u'll see pitches that were WAY off too... batting stance in mvp are crap, etc

the gameplay on all-star may not be the greatest but the game experience is great with all the little things that go into the game that make it so good

I'll take great gameply (MVP) over a correct batting stance or an incorrect pitching delivery any day of the week.

Sorry, no. It wasn't even the best baseball game released in the given year, let alone ever.

I'll take MLB 2006 over any baseball game this year or ever.

You can't edit the rosters on All Star Baseball 2005 before starting a franchise? What if I want to move Pedro to the Mets?

And MVP is great, but personally, I'm bored of it...

Try updated rosters every monday via 989. They've been putting them out for about a month straight. When was the last company that put out rosters like that? In spite of the freezes the better animations and realistic play makes it the choice for me. MVP feels like the same game I played last year and the animations aren't up to par.

I agree 100%, this game rocks. I like MVP too, I just like mlb better. That doesn't mean it is a better game, I just perfer it. It gets old with all these debates, like wich one is better lol.

Dont know if I would say best ever, but I think its very good. I love the random pitch counts, graphics/animation and all the little things like working scoreboards and Expansion team mode. As far as best baseball ever I would say MVP 2005 probably comes the closest.

All I know is that I could've traded in ASB 2004 for $25 towards MVP 2004...but I kept it. It was amazing how photo-realistic the Skydome was. I would love to see if they would've had the Rogers' Centre's video screens in the outfield rotating with out-of-town scores.

And MLB is good...but there are some serious roster flaws (e.g. players not being signed to contracts). I'm really considering buying MVP for the CPU.
