Anyone watch any of this....there is a kid on the Saudi Arabia team thats 6'5"....on the team.....little league.....6'5"....thats six feet five inches.....in little league baseball!
Yeah these guys do not seem 12. That Cal pitcher had a nice little beard going, and all these kids seem to be 5-8, 155 lbs, except for the really big ones lol. Thats more than I weigh and Im four years older than them.
I used to live in Saudi Arabia and got to umpire some of these kids in pee wee and that 6'5 Durly kid has always been huge. When he was 8 or 9 he was already 5 foot and had a gun for an arm even then. He's still not as overpowering as that kid from Nebraska a couple of years ago who was touching 80mph at 12. It's crazy how big kids get these days...maybe their all on the juice...they should start a testing program in little league. lol
but also gave up two runs. That guy was good though
Also the florida team tonight had what should have been a homerun just called a double, after it hit off the foul pole, then bounced down and off the fence. The umpire was like 15 feet away too, and as a left field umpire that was practically his only job to look for. Still the umps are all volunteers, so I kinda felt bad for the guy especially since Im a little league ump myself (get paid though)

agreed - did anyone catch the FLA manager ripping the home plate ump later about that? .. that was a great game to watch though.. some tremendous defensive plays on both teams.. ps- i think it is also cool that the FLA team will stay there to play some of the other teams for fun

The homerun that wasn't should've never even happened. That sorry excuse for an umpire had no clue what a strike zone actually is. He was squeezing the kid from Vista like nothing I've ever seen. There were pitches right down the middle on three separate occasions that he called balls.
man that kid is not 12 years old.i have play in 4 LLWS,we play Guam they had a kid that was 21 years old.they dont have to have proof of age.they are from oversea.it's hard to protest.i bet you want see him next year, mark my word.

The kid he was referring to is from Vista, California. It's already been documented numerous times that he is 12 years old.
I thought the age range for the LLWS only covered a two-year span (11-12 year olds). How could you play in four of them?
