Agreed.
I haven't been thisexcited over a HH game since the previews came out for HH2002(Vlad on the cover).
2001 (Sosa cover) has been the pinnacle of the series and it looks like 3DO is going all out this year. It comes out two days before my birthday too, which makes it nice.

Sounds like the curveballs are still floaty and that the transition animations aren't in the game yet... forget "promised", the proof is in the puddin'.
I do like the addition of minor leagues to the franchise... does anyone know if the other games will have this?Comment

I wouldn't count MLB and Triple Play out just yet. MLB skipped last year, so they've had a lot of time to work on a game that sounded like it was going to be good last year. EA has more money to spend and therefore can make up a lot of ground very quickly...not sure if they are going to release a game this year, though, since I haven't heard anything.Comment

Triple Play
MLB is gonna have to do a helluva lot to impress me. It wasn't a bad game on the PSOne but it wasn't a great one. 989 has its work cut out.Comment
