I doubt any of the teams in the ACC are overlooking Miami too much, they always have a good team, even in down years.

Heels rallied to beat Gardner-Webb today 11-8. Not the greatest game in the world, but a W is a W. For a team the struggled with its offense last season, UNC has been scoring a ton so far this year.

UNCW continues a pretty successful run through non-conference games against the ACC. Today, they beat Duke 17-0.

I see theyre 9-6. Who have they lost to so far?

3 out of their 6 losses were when they got swept by Florida.

Pickup Angela Tincher of the Hokies in your fantasy softball leagues. She wiffed 26 Lady Wolfpackers today in 11 innings. Hokies picked up the win in extra innings 6-5. Tincher's thrown two no-hitters this year, too.

Daniel Bard pitched a complete game today for UNC, winning 5-2. Hopefully the'll win the series tomorrow, no reason they should be losing to teams like Purdue.

Hokies swept Townson over the weekend to move to 6-3 on the year. Jose Cueto went deep twice on Sunday and now has 4 homers which may not seem like much, but last year's team leader only had 6 homers. Also, by looking at some of the other posts in this thread I'm glad the NCAA is going to uniformed start date because most of the other teams have played twice as many games as the Hokies.

GT swept Rutgers this weekend. Tech scored in the double-digits every game. The Jackets should be the uniamious number 1 after this weekend since Clemson lost again.

GT is #1 in all the updated polls! GT and Miss. State are the only undefeated teams in the country with GT being on the nation's longest winning streak.

Heels open up conference play against Wake Forest this weekend. Big series, hopefully they'll keep up the good play, show that the Heels are for real this year. With the pitching staff, hopefully this is finally the year Carolina makes it Omaha.
