    ASB 2004

I have been playing a franchise of Manage Mode only in ASB 2005. I am frustrated, however, with the flaws in the gameplay that can only be fixed with the edits posted by Jim416 and Knight. Well, I picked up ASB 2004 for cheap, popped it in, and the manage mode gameplay seems to be much better. I am considering restarting my franchise in ASB 2004, but I was wondering if anyone had any input into why 2005 was better whether it be franchise or gameplay. Thanks for the input.

I like ASB 2004 out of the box better than 2005. My problem was that injuries never happened unless yopu simmed games. To me, part of the fun of franchise is having to shuffle the line-up and give some minor leaguers a chance a the show. If someone knew how to increas injury frequency to that of 05, I'd go with '04. Plus the movies with Buck O'Neill were awesome, the music from the natural was cool, and the walk up music was varied and much beter than the Venga Boys. I also thought the players available in the expansion draft were better (03 had too much trash and 05 had too many stars).

Did the injuries only not work in franchise? I was playing an exhibition yesterday with Braves vs. Pirates and Chipper Jones broke his kneecap and it said he would miss 3-4 months.
