they had a spot were the inteviewer was speaking to the president of Acclaim. he ask him what was their goal for ASB. he (the president) said to make it sooo reaaal (sorry 3DO), that yu couldn't tell the difference between an actual game televised and their game. asked how long (or far) is Acclaim is from making this happen, the prez said "3 years!"
Acclaim did the interviewwer a favor and put him in the game. they put him th motion capture suit (black with lil' white balls atteched to it), gave him a bat, and put him in THE ROOM. the room was all black, and the size of a high school gym. he took his swing and minutes later, he was in the game. the ball speed is reduced, with more action on it. the player animation is are more fluid, though i did not notice the squatting animations we all hate. the game looks good. the interviewer stuck out, by the way.
now for the EA guys. they interviewed the prez of their company, and showed a quick clip of "MVP". i looked alot like WSB. the prez. was pretty full of himself though sayin EA is here to stay and is becoming bigger than the movie industry.
one off note: Bond 007: night fire cost $15 million to make!!!!...
