I know I'm excited about it.
I'm not into those long adventure games much, so when I bought my Xbox there were really only 2 games I wished were on Xbox that were only on PS2. GTA was one, and this game was the other. I didn't like ASB or WSB last year. Don't like the batting cursor, don't like the gigantic strike zone in WSB. And so many sports games have difficulty levels that immediately go from "too easy" to "impossible". The 3rd level on High Heat is perfect for me. And the best part is I know I won't be disapointed, because I don't care about graphics or franchise mode (do people really play multiple 162 game seasons?) or online play. Just give me a season, the outstanding gameplay, and I'll be stoked.

Yes, some people do play multiple seasons. However, I don't actually play all 162 games. I'll play 1 or 2 games in a series and sim the rest so I end up playing less than half of the games but I love managing the minor leagues, dealing with injuries and suspensions and so on. Cool thing is most of the baseball games released this year all have what looks to be great franchise modes.

I have never completed multiple seasons in any franchise mode of course I also play every game of the 162 game schedule too.

ASB 2004 is the only confirmed Live game. Inside Pitch from MS is rumored to be Live enabled.
