    ASB 2004 on XBOX Live Confirmed?

    I don't think so...this is all Akklame has said so far:

    On-line capabilities, featuring downloadable roster updates.

    Does this mean multi player online play? Not to me, I read it as...download rosters, uniforms, etc.

    The hands on preview on IGN did not mention them actually playing or seeing the online play mode. I only read what sounded like they assumed it had online play...

    IGN says:
    Online capabilities
    ASB 2004 will have head-to-head online competition and there will definitely be some downloadable content, such as updated rosters.

    While on the subject of online baseball games...how freakin sad that 5 games will be released this year for Xbox and only one may have online play so far? sucks if you ask me...

    I will be looking to spend my money on the 2 new games this year. ASB, WSB, HH seems like same stuff, they had a few years and those games have become stale to me...I mean they could only do so much without having to start from scatch. Just my opinion.

      I think it does suck that only one will maybe have online play... fatpitcher from WSB said something about baseball being very hard to get online, so maybe that's why. If not this year, I would bet that 90% of the games will have it for next year.

      I am looking forward to online play, but doubt I'd use it as much as I would franchise mode.... unless I could set up some sort of league or something, which would be hard with all of the games you would need to play or sim to complete a season. Either way, online or not, most of the games are lookin' pretty good.

          I figured baseball would be the easiest to play online because the pace is probably the slowest but I guess thats why I'm the gamer and not the developer. I guess the timing aspects of baseball would cause problems.

              I though the samething but i guess it not that easy to do on or offline
