I don't care about accurate rosters, as long as the new rookies are included. Like mentioned several times, the rosters aren't accurate after one season anyway, via trades, FA, draft, and to top it off I do fantasy draft to start all my franchises anyway.

Again, as long as they have the new addition rookies, i'm happy.

            Well boo-hoo

Buy it in April and make your roster changes then. Personally I'm counting the days. Better early then waiting until July like we had to for the DC World Series games..

There have been some good points here.

However, even when baseball games were released mid-March five years ago, the rosters were still only as current as 2/15 or so, demanding just as many roster tweaks. The only way to get accurate rosters would be to have the cut off be 4/1, thus causing the game to release late April at the earliest.

Secondly, if we all wanted franchise modes, what do we care for updated rosters as much as we do? After year one, the rosters all change anyways. If you make every single change that happens it real life, you mind as well not play franchise. The point is, your going up against cpu GMs. By making all the real moves for every team, you're taking away half the franchise mode.

The point is, just start a season and let your virtual season play out. Instead of thinking "Player A was traded last week to team B, better fix that," watch with anxious eyes as the cpu shocks you with major blockbusters in July.

It will be much more exciting to watch the virtual world unfold than to try and keep up with the real.

Great points all across. I never realy was a sucker for accurate rosters. I'm happy that thier even on the game. Plus I like the virtual GM to handle its team, I handle mine. Regardless if the rosters are'nt up-to-date.

Re: High Heat being released in 3 weeks is disturb

Many people are complaining that High Heat is being released early and won't have accurate rosters and it's hard to wait for WSB to come out in March so they have to get their baseball fix and buy HH. And one person went so far as saying HH is not in it to make the best baseball game, they are in it for the money. But does everyone forget that HH got released earliest last year too and was far and above the best baseball sim out? Granted the graphics were not spectacular but the reality of the game was unmatched. So maybe HH is out for the best baseball game as well as for the $$. And you people are buying HH for the baseball fix until WSB comes out but maybe just maybe HH will be better (like last year) than WSB. 3DO is obviously releasing early to get a jumpstart on the competition but each company has had the same amount of time to get the game ready (a year from last year's respective releases) plus 3DO already has the gameplay down whereas the others are not close. So maybe 3DO is trying to make money AND trying to make the best SIM possible.

I play HH now for 5 years...been in online leagues for 4 years...I've played over 5000 full games ... Yes HH is the Best PC baseball game.....Yes its the Best Sim....Yes i believe 3DO stopped caring about HH or its customers 2 years ago....Proof HH 2003...Didnt have a SINGLE PATCH even though the Bug problems were HUGH in amount.......they claim that they are spending their efforts on the new version...Then Why isnt there any ONLINE play w/ the coming version???? LOSERS 3DO should just sell the game to a company that CARES....But 3DO heres one for you...this year you will have competition!!!!!! This year you will rush your game out ahead of everyone to sell as much as possible before we get a chance to see what eles is out there for PC baseball .... NO ONLINE play....Gimme a break....since when is pitching to a computer player fun ??? throw a Ball and 10 times out of 11 the computer will not swing.... At least in Hall of Fame Mode.....
