High Heat being released in 3 weeks is disturbing.
WTF? Every year it seems like baseball games are being release earlier and earlier. It's just not possibl;e to have accurate ratings and rosters when a a game releases 3 months before the season. Baseball games should be banned until March 15th. This is getting out of hand.PSN: christophertoyTags: None -

They are doing that to get a jump on the market, they have VERY stiff competition from quite a few games this year so the earlier they are out before others, the more possible sales to those starving baseball fans.Comment

I like when games come out early it gives you time to fix the rosters how you want them, I'd be pissed if a game came out just a few days before or after the season in any sport.Comment

...trying to get a jump on the competition by releasing an unfinished product is shady in my opinion. And roster updates are nice, but what about people who don't have XBL or and shark port for the PS2. All I'm saying is that I hate when I pop in a new game and I have to edit the rosters for 8 hours before I can start a realistic franchise.PSN: christophertoyComment

Those are all valid points. But remember, 3DO isn't in the business to make the best game, they are in business to make money. Getting an early start will allow them to get revenue from customers that "can't wait" for the other games. I know I'm going to buy the game to help get my fix, and I think that High Heat is a decent product.Comment

True Phillifan, and High Heat is my second favorite baseball franchise behind World Series Baseball. If your a sim freak, then HH is the way to go. I'm just not ready for baseball yet. After March Madness, then I'm all about baseball.PSN: christophertoyComment
