I didn't like AllStar's batting cursor last year either, but I soon switched to Easy Batting on AllStar level and absolutely loved it. Hope they didn't mess too much with that this year.

Besides the difficulty of hitting, could someone please explain their dislike of the gameplay?
Every game has some flaws, graphical glitches and perhaps is missing a feature or two, but what makes this game crappy?
For me the only thing I didn't like was that it was impossible to make infield plays on hard liners up the chalk (I had to put the corners on auto defense) Besides that what didn't you like?

I didn't like the batter/pitcher interface for similar reasons as already posted. Plus, the whole "representing the bat with a triangle-shaped paddle" thing seems wrong to me.
I didn't like how it was next to impossible to steal a base if the pitcher didn't have a high leg-kick
I didn't like the overabundance of Willie Mays catches in the outfield (almost one per inning)
The game moved way too slowly (I know it's baseball, but sheesh)

That was one of my biggest gripes. I don't understand why the outfielder would stand in place while the ball is in the air, and get a last second jump only to make an over the shoulder Willie Mays catch. It may have been minor, but it was annoying as hell. Especially when one of the announcers would yell out "WILLIE" almost every time
