I know cubbyfan is working on his. Should be out shortly after opening day rosters are announced. Keep an eye out on the OOTP message boards, in the MODS section.

Of course, you could just play with fictional rosters in your own baseball universe. It sounds imtimidating or maybe weird, but once you find your favorite fictional player, you'll never go back to real rosters. At least thats how it worked for me. Either way, have fun, and enjoy the game.

I actually prefer fictional because I don't have any expectations about how the players should perform. It can be frustrating using a real roster set where players don't perform as in real life and they move players into different roles, etc. It takes awhile to learn the names around the league but once you do its far more entertaining, IMO.

I agree. I've tried to go back to real rosters, but I cant.

That being said, what I usually do is run a team in a fictional setting and after it has 10-20 years of history I import a dozen or so players from a database and see how they perform compared to some of my established players. I love the stuff this game can do.
