Rather face the hitters than the pitchers....If the hitters have an off nite you can get to the pitchers, or even get into a slugfest type game & have a shot to come out on top.

If they have great pitchers, one bad inning, one bad pitch can change the entire series since you will probably not be able to get a bunch of runs against them.

It really depends on what kind of a team I have, because great pitching does beat great hitting, but what if you dont have great pitching.
