I don't know if anyone has said this, but will there be realistic speeds when batting or pitching? And I might have heard this for another game. Some one said improved Pitcher/Batter Interface. What do they mean exactly? If anyone knows this please answer.

I heard they slowed the speed of the pitches down a little from last year, something i didn't have a problem with anywyas, I assume that the interface will be similar to last years installment. -

My feeling on this is we're playing a major league baseball game, so the pitch speeds should be very fast. However, we are also playing not through ourselves, but through the major league players themselves. So I think there should be a major league pitch speed, very fast, fast, medium, slow. This way it accomodates everyone.Comment

I hope they didn't slow it down any....I'll go look at a movie from the ASB website and see. I found it a little easy last year honestly. I don't think it was the speed neccessarily that made it easy but rather the location. CPU seemed to keep the ball low in the zone too much. Hope thereis a good mixture this year...and a better hot cold zone...ball thrown in your cold zone you have really no chance of hitting the ball well. I'm gonna go look at the movies now and see if the speeds were slowed down.Comment

Baseball is all about timing and guessing the next pitch. ASB's pitch speeds are perfect IMO, and represent what a real pitch (let's say fastball for example.) would look like.Comment

I looked at some videos on IGN.com....looks to me like its close to the same as last year on pitch speeds if not exactly the same. Good, I was worried they slowed it down.Comment

The ASB producer who dropped by the chat room yesterday said the game will have 2 modes of pitches: normal and exaggerated. Exaggerated will be slower, but with larger breaks.Comment
