What I've seen in the movies is that if you get close to ball it goes into glove. As far as the "ball 10 feet away and then magically appearing in glove" I have not seen that in movies, but Guru said it was toned down..which to me means it's still there. I'm sure it's not as often as last year but it would still bother me if it happened.

Also another thing in movie(Trailer) is the tag before runner gets there and runner is called out..is also still there. It's just bad animation timing but it's still there also.
So basically I think ASBB should be ASBB2003 1/2 not 2004.. IMO

Lets not forget Home Run cut scenes for ALL Home runs. Kind of takes away the suspense of it I think...

I agree. I think that it is a great chance to see the ballpark and lets you know that you just crushed it.... I am guessing that if you have a chance to rob the homerun then there isn't a cut scene, so obviously it isn't on EVERY homerun.

Shows off the stadiums??? You lose the most important aspect of a game, the suspense of a home run and you like it because it shows off the stadiums??

Your not a Triple Play fanboy right?

First of all, ASB didnt cut into a homerun view on every homerun. Most, yes. But not every homerun.

I think the main problem was that too many pitches in ASB were crushed. Which is why we had so many cut scenes.

But while playing ASB2003, I saw plenty of homeruns leave the ballpark without cutting into a special homerun screen. And some of these homeruns were not catchable.

I think the length of the homeruns is what needs to be cut down.
"It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

"You'll not find more penny-wise/pound-foolish behavior than in Major League Baseball." - Rob Neyer
