    Q for ASB fans

Would you rather have Acclaim working on gameplay instead on stuff like Spanish play-by-play, stadium tours, etc...
IMO gameplay is the most important thing, and i will be angry if all the ASB gameplay bugs are back.

I think that gameplay might be the most important thing, but it is always important to have a lot of features to keep the replay value high.

Try to imagine a game without a franchise mode. If ASB wouldn't include an in depth franchise mode, but their gameplay was improved a little bit, then Acclaim would be crucified on these boards. I think that it is importaning to remember that they probably changed things to make the game play better and didn't ONLY add a lot of new features.

JUST WAIT till the games come out.

Well, to be honest, some of the bugs do get a little annoying at times. But I don't feel that they made the game bad, or unplayable. Some of the features they could have done without. Personally Spanish play-by-play does zero for me, but the stadium tours might be fun and interesting. Personally, I think ASB is a good game and I will be purchasing it again this year, as well as a copy of WSB down the road. But whichever game you go with, enjoy.

That'd be a positve but i don't mind the state of the gameplay (except for the glitches that i've noted in my "improvements to look for in ASB 2004" subject.

Actually, the gameplay has been improved significantly. If you are one of the people (like me) who thought the pitch speeds were a little too fast last year, you will have an easier time making contact in '04. Randy Johnson, Pedro, Wood, etc...still bring the heat like last year, but the average guys have been slowed down. I think it's pretty funny that people think that because the team busted *** to implement a ton of new features that it must play bad. Rest assured, gameplay has always been the #1 priority thoughout the development cycle.

Welcome asb_fan, that better be true, i don't want to see a guy jump at the wall and rob someone of a home run when he's nowhere near the ball.

The ball 'vaccuuming' has been greatly limproved.
BTW- you will be happy to know that the Petco stadium is in the game in franchise mode starting in '04. And It's asb_man, not asb_fan.
