Problem/ Glitch in the Wii version?

Anyone having a problem, when pitching that when you wind up and press B to start the pitch but the B button will not be recognized? I never have a problem with the A button. I do not think it is a bad Wiimote as the B always works fine on other games or when browsing through the menus of The Bigs.

Well it looks like the problem only happened in Rookie Challenge. It appears to have just gone away.
