    NCAA Baseball 08...for next gen?

    Last year they only made this game for ps2....anyone know if it is in the plans to make it for next gen systems next season?

          If EA's really serious about this franchise, we'll see this game on PS3 and Xbox 360.

              I doubt it. It didn't sell well on PS2 and it seems to be a much greater risk/investment on 360/PS3.

                  But then EA loses baseball, straight up. EA has enough money to make sure this works, because I'm sure they want to be represented in all sports on the next gen systems. If they don't bring this game to X360/PS3... then what's going to happen if they get the MLB license back? Are they going to build the system then and pray for the best? It would be a smarter plan to build the engine for this game and if they get the MLB license at some point in the future just change the game from NCAA to MLB.

                      I doubt it, because EA is in some murky waters as it is with their weak financial reports. Something like NCAA would be the first to get hacked, and also the PS2 version is about to get it's online cut off as well.

                          EA's weak financial reports are incredibly fantastic financial reports for pretty much any other video game company.

                              It would be only for PS3 wouldn't it? Wasn't the 06 and 07 only for PS2? Either way I would like to see it come to the 360 I would defiently buy it. I still have fun playing 06 for my ps2

                                  06 was on Xbox. 07 wasn't because the Xbox is all but dead.

                                  Honestly, EA has used the 360 as the base to all of their games and I'd be shocked if that changed.
