Speaking about movin' on, the more and more of Guru's comments that I read right now about ASB the better. Man, I can't wait for this one.

Seems like ASB is gunning to out-Madden EA and the rest of its competition when it comes to baseball this year. For example, I can see how the scenario mode (a la Training Camp mode in Madden) could be a lot of fun if you don't have the time/patience to play a full 9 innings, especially since it looks like they put some effort into doing it right. And the franchise mode to me, anyways, seems to be almost as deep as anything that EA's tried to do in Madden/NCAA. Anyways, if they manage to pull it all off, my hat's off to 'em. I know I'm really looking forward to seeing some of the new animations that Guru's talking about.

Yeah, i'm really interested in ASB as well. I keep going back and forth because i hear a lot of good things, then i hear people complain about gameplay and that the game basically sucks. I'm just hoping we get to hear some impressions tomorrow if Gamecube owners get the game.

G-Hobbes you are correct, we are determined to "out-Madden" the competition in the baseball category this year...that's part of the reason the head-to-head on-line play issue was so vague for so long. We worked on it right up until the end to try to get it in and working on time, and we are very dissapointed it is not in. At least we can say we went out fighting.... so much progress was made that we can guarantee it will be in '05.
FatP- out of curiosity, did you guys try to make it happen this year quietly, or did you not schedule for it this year?

Thanks for the reply, ASB man.. I just took another look at you guys' website and the 81 or so "highlights" of the game that you have listed there..and if you guys have done a good job with all of that stuff, then I can surely do w/o online play for another year. The way I see it, your main competition just has that much further to go to catch up on the rest of this stuff. And a game like HH, unfortunately, just isn't going to be able to cut it anymore I'm afraid.

Yes, we have future stadiums for several teams, including the ones you listed and the Yankees, Mets, etc. They are all playable in exhibition mode, and they all have stadium tours as well. The artists did a great job this year, and ASB weighs in with 75 stadiums total.
