The low pitch and heavy ground ball attributes will definitely help him. I gave those to him right away.

      Most definitely...

With this edit, Wang gives up hits, but I swear, he went 8 innings and only allowed 5 fly ball outs! NICE !!!

You're right about Lopez. That should go back down to 3 or even 2. He's kind of a weird left-hander.

Papelbon does have a change though. He hasn't thrown it in relief this year but when he was starting he threw one. I guess it's your call if you want to include it.

Johan Santana has only 3 pitches in this game.
anyone know what other pitches i should give him?
          or is it just right?

He pretty much throws fastball, slider, circle change BUT I think he alters his slider a bit to make it more slurvy sometimes.

            I think something like

            Slurve: 4
            Hard Slider: 4
            Circle Change: 6

is appropriate for him. He really does have arguably the best and most consistent changeup in the majors right now but while his breaking pitches are very good I'm not going to call them more than very good.

I have been editing rosters all this weekend, and when i got to the brewers and created braun over weeks, his name is allready in the database. His full name, which is the first one ive come across for a created player.

This lead me to think Braun was created somewhere else, but I cant find him anywhere.

Editing players takes forever, but ive got about half the teams done now.

Yep, I'm doing the same thing.

Are you editing everything in MY DATA?

You figure out a way to swap out a minor leaguer below that line for a roster spot in MY DATA? I don't thnk it's possible, in MY DATA, but in arrange mode you can,,,but arrange mode does me no good

                  thanx alot.

                  yeah, it's a b*ch editing the players.
i gotta keep checking myself from giving an average guys Bs instead of C/Ds in their contact or power.
barely done with editing just the NL central teams

                    Can't be done.

You pretty much have to either overwrite a player like I did bryan over weeks, or switch players like Pena and Wigginton. The game doesn't seem to alter there lineups no matter how good you make a bench player, so you have to work around it.

However, with pitchers, I was albe to make Carmona a sp, and change one of the origonal sp to relif, and once I simd a few weeks in the season mode, carmona was making starts.

Yep that's what I've been doing, over writing players. Sucks because yeah Carmona is there but not starting. So I overwrote Sowers, then turned him into Carmona with Carmona stats, even though Carmona is on there but not starting. Then I went and turned Carmona into Pena. Lots of that crap you gotta do.
