    Trajectory category?

In my Success Mode I am working on making a first baseman power hitter, and I am a bit confused by the trajectory category.

I believe it can be raised up to 4 before being "acquired" but I am curious if investing in trajectory is necessarily a good thing... Does it mean you will also hit into more fly out situations?

Generally boosting a category results in clear benefits, but in this case it seems it might be a double edged sword... Thoughts?

I've noticed the guys with 4 instead of 3 tend to hit more moonshots and more HRs overall. You need some decent power for it to really matter though. I've also noticed they're most prone to hitting monstrous pop-ups and deep fly balls. I don't think it's a double edged sword though, guys with good power seem to really benefit from having the 4.
