    Is this game really only 1 player only?

    Metacritic has it listed as being only 1 player. Is this true? I couldn't tell from the box or description on some of the game store sites. And the official site didn't seem to have anything one way or another. I know there is no online but can you not even play head to head locally? I was hoping to find a game that I could set up for my gf to be able to play me in. And even though the game seems deep, it's got the cutesy graphics and it looks like you can set a lot of things to auto. Most baseball games are too complicated for her and she gets frustrated. If this game could be set up where it is more difficult for me and easier for her that would be perfect.

      There's no online but you can play head to head with a friend on the same console.

          Cool...that's what I was hoping for. And can you set up each player independently? For example, set her to have the base running done by the cpu, and me for on my own? Also, with the different lock on settings for the hitting..can you set these differently for each player?

              Yes. You can set different difficulty settings for two different players in exhibition games.

                  Excellent. Thanks for the info. Looks like you bastards on this forum have cost me another 40 bucks. Probably wouldn't have gave this game a second look if I didn't read about it here. Upon first seeing it, I figured it would just be Wii Sports baseball with MLB players or something.
