I popped this game in for the first time last night and really didn't mind the graphics and the qwerky player models and then just for kicks, I start up MLB 07 (ps3) and the first thing I thought to myself was damn, these graphics aren't as good as I remember. I found myself preferring the Power Pro look and feel. I think developers are worring too much about the minute graphic details when they don't have too. If the made a football game that was "Power Pro's" esk (fun to play, stat filled) I'd probably never leave the house!!!

That's exactly right. A lot of people don't understand that and don't understand why a game with graphics like PP can be better than a game that tries to look photorealistic.
I'd like to see more sports games with similar (what's the word -- cartoonish?) graphics.Comment

That is very true. When you see a character looking photo-realistic, but yet does not animate exactly like a human would, it would seem flawed because with the realistic look comes high expectations for realistic movements/interactions.Comment

Remember Windwaker on the Gamecube? All cell shaded and cartoony but the colors are brighter and everything just "looked" great!Currently Playing- PS4- PES 18

There's actually a term for this from what I've read from a Game Informer article months back, it's called the "Uncanny Valley".
