    Technique Sharing

Anyone know how this works? I got some guys to have good loyalty amongst themselves, now I'm putting them in technique training. I have to choose a technique for each one..anyone figure this out? Do I choose the technique I want them to have? Does it have to be a technique that the veteran leader has?

I think in the begin of your first season the stupid broad who gives you info the first two weeks of the season mentions that if you want anyone to learn anything potentially quicker the best thing to do is pair them together, so I would imagine if you have a vet with the technique of a "strong finisher" pairing him with a young guy (If they have good chemistry of course) then the young guy has a better chance of learning that technique. That is how I understood it anyway.

        Re: Technique Sharing

In "Training" in Season Mode, you first go to the "Automatic" screen. You'll see all your players hanging out there. I think you hit X (PS2) to enter the Automatic page, then you select a player with the scroll, and you can send him to any of the training sessions.

Then you can add players to that training session by going back to the Automatic screen and repeating the process.

Then, say you put two guys in the BrkBall training, both learning the KnuckeCurve. You should send the guy you want to be the Veteran Leader (the one with a good Knuckle Curve) as your SECOND player ......

On the BrkBall screen, you can use the Square button to create groups that will learn together. I can't remember exactly how... but you pick the players and then hit square several times (the effect of the square button changes during this process).

The player you send to the training SECOND will automatically become the Veteran Leader. If you create a Group correctly, you'll see the result at the top of the screen..... even shows you the friendship levle of the players involved.

I sure wish we had more info about how this all works. This is the little bit I (think) I have figured out.

Thanks for the help guys, but I don't think you understand what I'm asking. I know how to group people, I know how to set up the veteran leader, etc..I know that whole part. The part that I'm stuck on is after you've managed to actually get a few players to be loyal to each other, how to you get them to transfer their special abilities. I got some of my guys to be loyal to each other and then I grouped then in the Technique practice area. As I added them to the technique area I was prompted to select a special ability to practice I guess for each one. That's my question...Has anyone done this part with any success? If so then how?

It takes time and even if they are best of friends it doesn't always mean that the player with the ability is willing to teach it.
"It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace
