Dealing with fatigue in season mode

Hey, how is everyone dealing with fatigue in season mode? What I usually do is wait for a player to get his fatigue bar filled up 2/3 the way and then place him in fitness practice and take him out of the lineup for a few games. If a pitcher is fatigued, I do the same thing except I leave him in the rotation. I also bought the hot dog.

Does anyone have any tips? Is it better to wait for a player to get substantially fatigued before resting him, or is it better to rest intermittently? Is rehab practice for injured players? Do players lose their trust progress when you remove them from a group in order to rest them?

Speaking of fatigue, where do I see this in Season mode? What screen?

You can see it in the player info --> roster --> player list screen, or you can see it on the practice screen by pressing select.

Koolranch, are you having the problem I am having?

My starting pitchers are all too tired to start. Even with a five-man rotation. Even in early April. Even though I put a couple of them into a practice session for breaking balls, but a couple I did not.

My second starter should be rested, but I'm getting a gray face (I guess than means he's too tired to pitch).

That happens to me sometimes, but not as often as you describe. Like the other thread in the forum, every now and then my swing guy will be slotted as the game's starter because my 5 primary starters are all fatigued. What I've started doing is only allowing the players' fatigue meters to get 1/4 of the way filled, tops, before taking players out of skills practice and putting them in fitness practice. That's working pretty well so far.
