    After many games of testing....

I have come up with a decent set of sliders:

    Player:

    Control --- Type A
    Batting --- Manual
    Base Running --- expert-semi-auto
    Pitching --- Manual expert set-up
    Fielding --- all-star-semi-auto
    Manager --- Manual
    Cursor control --- Analog
    Sweetspot cursor --- 1-lock on
    Pitch cursor --- on
    Pitch mark --- Point
    Ball mark --- off
    Strike Zone --- off

    CPU

    Batting --- All-Star
    Base running --- Expert
    Pitching --- Allstar
    Fielding --- All-Star
    Manager --- na
    Curosr control --- na
Sweetspot cursor --- Normal (no lock)
    Pitch control --- na
    Pitch cursor --- On
    Pitch mark --- Point
    Ball mark --- off
    Strike zone --- Off
    Catch mark --- Off
    Handicap..........Off

Currently I am 0-3 but all the games have been great. My biggest problem is me throwing bad pitches.

I would love some feedback and see what others are using

Hey, thanks for these. I will give them a try tonight and tell you what I think. They look pretty good.

I just got this game (Wii) and want to see what is giving people the best results and stats.

Let me know what you guys think. They are a little more difficult than I would like, but as time goes on I will get better and better. These definetly make you pay for mistake pitches.

I need to keep the ball marker on I think. I'm terrible at fielding and always switching guys. I miss a lot of fly outs and liners to the outfield that go right by me because I take bad angles. Any tips besides "get better"?

I keep the fielding on semi-auto. The right fielder will move towards the ball. I was having the same problems until I switched this.

I would have also used semi-auto fielding, but since picking up a gamecube controller for this game, I love how the fielders handle. I'm pulling off diving catches, and everything feels very tight and natural.

I may have to try that.

Re: After many games of testing....

I'm sticking to Semi-Auto fielding. I'm using the classic controller and still having problems.

Does anyone know how to get the CPU pitchers to throw more pitches in a game? My starters are throwing around 80 something pitches a game, while the CPU is about half that. I believe it is because they are just a tad too accurate. As a result of the pitch totals being low, the CPU pitchers are throwing complete games too. I've even tried being more patient at bat, but to no avail.

I take the first pitch of every AB unless it's right down the middle or the batter seems to excel at hitting first pitch strikes. When I don't do that not only do I end up with lower pitch totals but I also end up with more weakly hit balls.

Re: After many games of testing....

Man, I cannot find the right set of options for this game.

Human/CPU hit totals are always too high (mid teens).

CPU strikes out too much. K totals are almost always 9-12 per game for the CPU team.

Pitch totals are under by about 20 for Human/CPU teams every game, which isn't that bad.

And finally, this is really bothering me, walks are almost non-existant (1 in my last 30 games).

Also, I'm pretty sure triples are only possible when a player bungs a play straight up. It's impossible to rip one down the line for a triple, because the outfielders are always centered and never cheat left or right, so they can get to the ball quickly. And I've never ripped one into the gap for a triple either. Lots of doubles, but no triples yet. HELP! This game rocks and is so close to perfection, but these things are really starting to bother me.
