    You're right. I was gonna get HH anyway, but I hadn't planned on exchanging ASB for it. My problems with this game are the following;

    1. Animations on ground balls take way too long and cause infield hits on balls that should be outs. When the fielder has to run to the ball, catch it, stop, squat, wind up and then throw, Sean Casey can beat out a ground ball.

    2. Due to the fielding problem, double plays are virtually impossible.

    As Dooch pointed out, you're supposed to be using the "future throw". You're not supposed to wait until the fielder has it in his hands before telling him where to throw it.

    Correct, it takes some time getting use to, and you'll start throwing DPs. And I have no problem with hitting, I turned the cursor off and also the strike zone and I'm having a heck of a time.

    For the guy who said it was to easy, tell him to play with the Pirates or Brewers then see how easy it is.

      Okay, a couple of more things. First of all, the I'll give you an illustration of how ridiculous hitting is. While using zone batting in batting practice, I have to hit the swing button before the pitcher raises his arm in order to pull the ball. That's right. Swing while the pitcher is in the process of raising his arm to throw the ball! Therefore, I rule zone batting, at least on the All-Star level, useless.

      Enough bad, here's some good. I'm a big sim guy with extensive experience playing text and dice based baseball (Strat-O-Matic, Diamond-Mind, etc.). So, I have manage only a shot and it's great. I may keep this game for that reason only.

          People, do not believe this BS about having to swing before the pitcher even raises his arm. This is a complete and total falsehood.

          Either that or kpeercy has a "bad" game, 'cause this sure doesn't happen to me.

              I'm telling you that in batting practice, you must push the A button well before the pitcher throws the ball. That is no lie.

                      Man, try it for yourself. In order to pull the ball, you have to swing before the pitcher throws the ball in batting practice.
