A couple of questions and comments about ASB (Cj82000)

hey i dont know if any of you still remember me but back in the day i had like 300 posts or so near the heyday of OS back when sports reviewers was still the vastly superior site.

I have to say things have changed a lot.

anyway there are several things about ASB 04 that i have noticed that i was wondering if anyone else had...

First, has anyone watched the credits yet? It has got to be either the funniest or the most well done (or both) credit lists i have seen in a video game....it is great. If you have not watched it go do so next time you play the game.

Also, the instant replay is a mixed bag but i have found myself liking it a lot. I mean it is somewhat dissapointing that you dont have a freely rotating camera; however, it saves a lot of time and gives you a better cinematic feel with the pre set cameras. There are tons of cameras for every situation so it is easy to find a good one to see what you want to see on the play.

Also, I was wondering about the opinions you guys have one the player cards. I have around 60-75 of them so far. I have unlocked all but 6 of the movies and they are pretty good but the buck o neil ones drag forever.

Lastly, i was wondering what all cheats you guys have unlocked....all i have gotten so far is backward caps and aluminum bats...i have been wondering about what different cheats there are but i have not been able to find an answer so i figured what the hell...

    anyways

Yeah, i've watched the credits, and they were very cool. That's usually a pretty boring feature in games, so it was nice to see some "spice" added.

As for the cheats, i've unlocked quite a few of them. Some of them are pretty wild: Paper Players, Maximum Height, Minimum Height, Maximum Weight, Big Arms, Big Legs, and the ones you mentioned. I think there were a few more, but i can't remember off the top of my head. I checked out the minimum height one and it was kind of funny. They all looked like midgets, and the bats were HUGE on them.

        yeah....

one of the other things i am really surprised about is the quick loading...i mean it is one thing to go seamlessly from an intro movie into the menu screens but it is amazing to go into the multimedia section and have movies playing within seconds of when you turn the game on....acclaim austin has done some good technical work on this game
