        I bought 2002 and hated it...took it back...i didn't even bother with any baseball games last year. This year, I have bought 2 so far. Will be getting WSB next week and Inside Pitch whenver (of course for online play).

                SoMiss,which of the 2 baseball titles that you have do you feel is the best. I'm leaning towards allstar b/c I thoght that last years was pretty good(although I may be the only person who feels this way )

                        Well, I have HH...it has very good gameplay, lots of tuning options, and a deep franchise mode. I have ASB, and it has good gameplay and a VERY VERY deep franchise mode. It is a totally different game than the one I bought for 2002. I am waiting to return my HH (PS2) for the prettier xbox version but in the meantime, since I've had ASB 2004, I played HH for a few minutes yesterday but I quickly put ASB back in. There are both very good but right now I prefer ASB with all it features and good gameplay. I'm sure I'll get tired of it and go back to playing HH. I had planned on buying them all and selling the one I liked least on ebay or half but I can't see selling either ASB or HH at this point. I'm having so much fun. The two games I have now are totally different but are great games. You can't go wrong with either. I just hope WSB is as good. I'm probably going to rent MVP since I'm expecting it to be along the lines of NBA Live 2003 in EA's first attempt.

                            Well, I have HH...it has very good gameplay, lots of tuning options, and a deep franchise mode. I have ASB, and it has good gameplay and a VERY VERY deep franchise mode.                                 I love using the Hot/Cold zones..they add so much more to the game, IMO. Gives you a pretty good game plan to stick with against some hitters you otherwise wouldn't know how to pitch. One of the best features in the game as far as I'm concerned.

                                        I also used the pitch history when I got in trouble last nite against the A's. Jermaine Dye was up with runners on 2nd and 3rd with 1 out. From the pitch history, I learned that I had gotten him out 2 previous at-bats by pitching him low and away...lo and behold...pitched him the same way and got him to pop out into foul territory! Could have been coincidence, could have been good gameplay...anyways...I love this game! It's like a big old pot of gumbo!

                                                        Yes I agree...and thats why I liked this game last year as well. I feel that the more you put into it and utilize some of it's deep features, the more rewarding and realistic a game you will get in return...That's why this game takes a bit of time to grow on you so you can uncover it's depth....whereas alot of other titles may have a slightly bigger WOW factor upfront, once you stripped down to their heart and soul , you found alot of things lacking, while this game seems to grow stronger...Anyways, hopefully all the upcoming titles will have more longlasting appeal so we all win
