I love this game. My rommate went ahead and bought the game while i remained skeptical not knowing what game i will end up going with. I looked around at first taking a few stadium tours (which are amazing by the way) and seeing what you could do in the franchise mode.
I then decided that it was time to give the gameplay a shot. I actually was in a franchise (with the Mets of all teams, just because i loved future shea) and played as the mets against the cubs. To make a long story short i won the game 12-6. I was playing on veteran and had trouble at first hitting the ball but got used to the 3d cursor and started killing the ball. I couldn't seem to control their hitters at first though.
By the end of the game, Piazza hit 2 homers and i used up all but one of my relief pitchers.
Most of all, THE GAME WAS FUN TO PLAY. I loved playing the game and it is very possible that i might be buying this in the next couple of weeks.
