You can't.
Well that's not entirely true. Here's how:
First you have to unlock the Use Arrange Team" option(And tell us how the F you did it) and then buy it at the shop. Then you create an Arranged team (You can choose the Mets as the base) and put any players on it you want. make a team for each "team" you want the roster to change.
Then when you start a season there's and option to use an arranged team. So you would then replace the Mets with your new Mets etc..
That's the only way I know of as there is no option to just edit teams rosters.
I love the game as it is tons of fun and the stats stuff is awesome but little things like the rosters are irritating.Joshua:

--Of course, if you have the option of arranging teams, you could use that.
To unlock it, though, you must win the world series with a success mode player on your team. Maybe you could just do a quick run-through of season mode - ignoring the owner points just to unlock this option.--Comment
