    Classic baseball game screenshot thread.

I don't know how many people would be interested in this, but I love trying to find screenshots for old sports games. Especially baseball games. I like to look back as see how the games looked that i grew up on. I will start it out with a shot from Earl Weaver baseball.

        Correct!

That game was so awful You could actually hit a home run anytime you wanted to, by pressing the button, and holding down on the joystick. The first bad use of a power swing in Baseball.

But this game was my favorite...Microleague Baseball

It didn't get much better than Baseball Stars back in the 80's:

So did I, plus BTP tv style perspective. I thought it would never get better than that.

                    BK,

Never made it out to Lake Elsinore. Perhaps this spring. Got you on my mind when he comes up with a date for a game.

I thought World Series Baseball on the Genesis was awesome and had it up until a few years ago when I sold it and the system (kicks self in butt).

Definitely have to get a Storm game in this year.

WSB on the Genesis was awesome. As was WSB on the Saturn.

I hear ya. We will, probably early spring.

I would say WSB on the Genesis was my all time favorite.

There was another my friend and I played to death on Friday nights (triple headers). It was MLBPA Baseball, Super Nintendo. We had a blast with it. Of course after my 12th beer anything was fun (back in my drinking days).

Can someone post a screen of EPYX's World's Greatest Baseball Game?

Thanks for the Micro League screeny, I ordered that game from an ad in the back of a LA Dodger game day program in 86 if my memory serves me right.

I have to chime in and say that Sports Talk Baseball was great on the Genesis. That was the first game that started to show different unique batting stances and even some pitching motions. Very cool.
