    ASB ...WHY !

How come I can't find season mode. I have the xbox version and when you navigate to the menus and go to MLB mode on the right side it says play a season , franchise and series. So I click on this mode and when it opens there is Franchise, Series and expansion . NO season mode. So I try franchise, then I want to find the way to chnge the number of games in a season to play. Can't find it. Please don't tell me I have to play 162 games. No options to change the length of the season ! This is a step back from last year. Last year I can play 30 game season. Not the whole 162 games. Is this correct for this years version that you have to play the whole 162 games. Please Help. Whare is season mode ?

So lets sum this up so far.
-no changing schedules , same schedule every year.
-nos season mode , only franchise
-no changing length of season have to play whole 162 games
-no season mode , even though it says it on the screen before you go into mlb mode on the right side in the little pop up !
-only one human player can take a team in the franchise mode. My son and I cant have a team each to compete.

This is very frustrating , How can a game with this much features and options and everything else leave these vital things out. I love this game but it is lacking in these areas. I am very frustrated now.

I can't figure out why anyone would want to have a schedule shorter than 162 games. If you don't want to play them all, just sim them. Baseball's a game of statistics...what the hell good would stats for a 30 game season be?

I third the theory on stats. However, I do agree with you sixmillion, on the fact that the schedule is the same every year. I would hope that next year they would change the schedule from year to year, at least the interleague play!

Still the best baseball game out!

I fourth the stats theory, that's why I'm gonna play every single game of my twenty year GM and Manager contract with the Fury

It's a trade off for some. I looked for season too, but decided on franchise. I'm playing one game of the three game sets and simming the rest. Why? I want to get into the next seaon in awhile and see the new SD ballpark and some of the other interesting things. Even though you and your son can't control a team you can play against one another. If you GM all you can stil make the roster adjustments you want.

It's hard to have a multiplayer franchise in games. It'll force the seasons to be longer. I say stick to just one player and if you want multi plyaer, go continue and whine, even though it will lead to devastating results.
