    Need Advice

Ok guys, I'm having some issues. At the beggining of the year my coach told me that I was going to get to play quite a bit this year. Well ever since he told me that its been almost the complete opposite. I'm one of the better players on our team and probably the best outfielder on our team, but I'm not getting playing time. We played 5 games last week, including two yesterday, and I only started two. One was against a crappy team (we let our crappy people play this game, I guess I'm in that group now) and against our rival. I'm not doing bad the only errors I really had was when I was put into the infield for the first time in my high school career and I sailed the ball just a little bit on a throw to first. My hitting has improved tremendously though and as of yesterday I almost hit my first career homerun. I didn't even connect fully and still almost hit it out to left-center. It just frustrates me because I'm playing well (last night made a clutch play while running for the catcher, by avoiding a tag doing a hook slide to tie the game in the championship of our tournament last night.) but I'm not getting any playing time and people who are constantly making errors still play.

Do you guys have any suggestions, comments?

If you produce, you will play. It does not matter who you are.

If you produce and don't play your coach has something against you or something for some other kid.

Make the most of the opportunity you get

OK thanks Stewart, the last two games I have started I went 1-3 2 RBI's, 2 Walks, 3 Runs. Thats not that bad. Plus yesterday I ran for the catcher everytime, and scored twice, with one being the hook slide I made to give us so momentum in our comeback (After being down 8-0)

Thing is, I'm putting the ball in play. I walk or put it in play. I think I only have struck out once or twice throughout the whole season and pre-season. That's about 20-30 at-bats at minimum.
