    Need Help

I'm looking to make my own historic roster set for MLB and I was wondering if anyone came up with a conversion from stats to ratings. Any help would be appreciated.

Sorry I can't help with a chart. This is my first year with Mlb The show, but in past games, MVP and 2K, I have recreated old World Series.
What I do is match up stats with current players so in theory the stats and performance should match up.

Just off the top of my head 1978 Reggie Jackson had 27 Hr, .274 BA, and 13 2b. I would use Jim Thome for hitting ratings because he had similar stats in 2007. I may tweak them a bit, but that is a good start.

Look at current players stats. Look at the ratings that the programmers gave those players. Make a chart of your findings and come up with ratings.

      It's a lot of work.

I count 96 clicks for each "attribute" in the game. Some say it is 100, some say it is 99. I have checked many times, and I get 96. So your scale is 0-96. My understanding is that each time you hear a click, count it. The problem you will see is that sometimes you will hear a click, but you won't see the bar move.
