I've played it, Dynasty League Baseball and Strat in the past. I haven't played the most recent version of DMB however.

Diamond Mind Baseball

I too have played it and was actually in a league from 98-04. It's a solid game, but the interface needs an overhaul. I spend most of my time with table top baseball (Dynasty and Replay) and the Dynasty computer game.

I don't know if it needs an overhaul, maybe a few small tweaks...but this game is soo good and realistic....ESPN has been using it for years to predict final standings, series winners and replaying famous games and series from the past.

Playing h2h is a fantastic feature as well.

Playing h2h is a fantastic feature as well.

My biggest problem is the interface is so dry, as is the commentary. Feels like I am playing baseball in an Excel Spreadsheet.

While I don't believe Strat to be as accurate, I get more of a feeling of playing a baseball game when I play strat.

Wasn't DMB the only text sim to have a pitch by pitch option as opposed to just the last pitch in the AB?

I've had DMB, Strat, and ActionPC, and I prefer ActionPC. Great game, you guys should really check it out.

I thought Action PC was the worst I played...but I only played the football version terrible.

The play by play in DMB is very good and is always updated and expanded every year. Yes it has a pitch by pitch option as well. I still think DMB is the most accurate one out there.

Its a stats junkie heaven type of game. The interface is simple for anyone to use, and gives all the info you need. And if you cant see it, its a click away.

The game has come along way since its days called PTP - Persue the Pennant Baseball.

Yes it is....and you can switch back from pitch by pitch to AB at anytime....

Great game I've been playing for about 12 years and will continue to do so...just kind of sucks there will be no version 10 ever.

OOTP has pitch by pitch mode as well.
