Anyone have a list for the fake players?

There are more fake names this year and I was wondering if anyone found a correction list.


The red sox have a lot of "Great" fake names as well as other teams....

I think the Rockies have the most. But the greats are harder to figure out this year then last, I think because there are more of them.

Yeah and some of those guys aren't even on the rosters anymore, so you just have to edit them to someone else who is on the roster.

Took me a a solid 3 days just to get all the teams to reflect the exact rosters and depth charts now. Which is just stupid because of all the call ups there will be in the next two weeks, but hell I'm just obsessive about it and had to do it anyways...lol.

The giants, A's, and Padres were not fun to edit, I think Seattle was wierd too. Some were easy like the red sox, angels, phillies, marlins, dbacks. Make sure to give Hamilton, Ankiel (fielding, arm) and Longoria some attribute adjustments to start if you are gonna mess with that stuff.

The game might not be graphically realistic, but boy did they get cartoon guys to look just like Gagne, and Khalil Greene. Greene's hair and Gagne's beard with goggles cracks me up everytime.

Additions are in bold. Props to Skinz for the great start! I also made sure all positional hitters have a 2 in tracjectory, so any one who is at a 1 got a bump to 2. I made some other small edits here and there based on how players are performing this season. If I missed any fake players or someone knows of someone who should be in there please feel free to keep adding to the list.

thanks for the list. figuring out these "great" players is a bigger chore than it was last year. i believe G. Burke on the Astros is Reggie Abercombie. only player that made sense to me.

On the White Sox, Great Synder is Andrew Sisco. Sisco was in last year's game and Great Synder's stats are identical.

I thought I saw a window that you could use to alter the called name but there were limited options. I'd rather them say "First Baseman" than "Great Johnson" every time, although it does make me chuckle when I hear it.

There is a feature in MY DATA, under EDIT, then when you click on the player there is a VOICE option. I don't think they have a random 1st baseman one or something like that maybe someone else knows.

Usually I just look for a name from the database that sounds the same, I think I changed Millar to Miller, kinda close and the best I could do.

sorry, but that gave me a chuckle...i guess you could be kinda proud if someone called you "great johnson" as you stepped into the batters box...or the bedroom...
