How do you change to auto running?

I'm having problems with the Wii version remembering to press the directional pad as well as the stick. Is there a way to set auto running? Also, what is the main difference between novice and normal on the gameplay setting? Just trying to figure out where I should have stuff. Thanks!

I have the ps2 version. Once you choose exhibition game there will be a menu at the top of the screen when you choose your lineup, etc. Choose the "options" one and scroll down the left column and you will find baserunning. You can set it to manual, semi and cpu controlled. This can be done during the game too. Press start then choose "options".

Not sure of the answer to your 2nd question but one could assume that the game would just be easier when choosing "Novice".

Is the auto-baserunning only availble in regular modes, and not My Life? I can't seem to find the option anywhere in that mode.

Good idea. I forgot that the practice mode in PP was not just batting and pitching. Thanks
