A Few questions about MLB Power Pros - Help please

I'm so hooked on this game it's kind of scary. and I'm not even a baseball fan (which would account for me having to ask stupid questions) If Konami ever does a Hockey or Soccer game with this much coolness.... goodbye life!

In the game, I'm a pitcher, went through the sucess mode, got into majors, and came into the MLD Life mode. Played a bit in AAA and am now starting.

    1) Do I ever get the option to change edit my character's looks? Kind of like how you start MLB Life without doing success.

    2) Do I ever get the option to have those blank attibutes filled in, like strengths and weaknesses? Same situation as #1

    3) When a batter comes to bat, the game will show abbreviations like "FS, O, ...." where can I find out what these mean?

    4) How many innings should a pitcher pitch to keep it "realsitic?" I just stayed in for 11 innings and a buddy said that's craziness. Every other game I play, it's around 8 or so.

    5) Do I ever earn any of the attribute/skills that I couldn't afford during success mode? They tend to increase after every game, but they're grayed out.

    6) The icon beside my name has nearly always been a sad face with an up arrow. Is there something I'm supposed to do to get my guy out of that depressed state?

K... enough for now. Any help is appreciated. And yes, I did try to find these in the manual before bothering everyone.

    1. If you're using a success mode character, the only time you could've possibly changed his looks is at the end of success mode when you get to that screen where you can change age, #, etc...It is under the appearance option where you change the face and hair and stuff.

    2. No, you just get what you have with your success mode character. No choosing of strengths or weaknesses because you already have the abilities from success mode.

    3. I think you're talking about the bar at the very bottom of the screen, it shows what the batter did his last at bat. FFO(foul fly out) FO(fly out) KS(strikeout swinging) KL(strikeout looking) etc...

    4. I really wouldn't care about getting realistic amount of innings, so someone else can answer this if they want. I would just go as long as I can, and you don't have a choice if you'll come out or not anyway.

    5. Once the orange bar below the ability icon fills up all the way you will get the ability.

    6. I really don't know if there's anything you can do about it, it seems like it's a cycle that will keep running forever and you won't have much control of it.
