Help needed with Expansion Mode in New version of POWER PROS

Just got the game and I am thrilled that you can do expansion mode in PP. Can you please tell me exactly how this works? Is it all comp generated players or is there a draft? And if it is all comp generated guys, can you trade a lot of them easily for real MLB players?

Another question would be what players should I look to trade for? I am all about expansion mode and would like to run a realistic expansion team. What players do you guys think some MLB teams would make available and which players do you think I can trade for without too much of a problem?

    Thanks for your input

I tried checking for you. But this is the first time playing the series and after I created two teams and selected one, I started my season with a random, generated roster. Not sure if I made a mistake, but ya....

Are you talking about some of the fake stadiums in the game? You just have to buy one of the fake stadiums in the shop and then when you get to the part where you can edit the expansion team pick one(or both) of the teams and then go into original team and there's an option of where you can choose which stadium you want to use and pick the one you want. I forgot about the stadium when I recently started one, now I have to suffer through using Petco Park as my home field. I'm not sure if you can trade the horrible players for mlb players, I haven't tried it because I plan on just using my expansion guys.

As far as the "expansion draft" works, you can either start as a team of no-bodies (AI generated names), or choose a "fantasy-like" draft. The only downside to that is that all players are available - the teams do not "protect" players. Usually if I do that, I do a "house rule" for myself, and take players that I think teams would get rid of.

I was able to trade a couple scrubs to the Indians for Laffey and another one of there young pitchers.

I'm going to wait to trade until at least the 2nd year because I think it might end up getting too easy. The only people that aren't exspansion players that are on my roster are David Price because I wanted one good pitcher, and Justin Rigguiano who I signed from FA to try to build him into a good player.

David Price is in the game? I looked for him but couldn't find him.
