The IGN review says it is exactly like the previous mario baseball game on the GC. I didn't enjoy that one much so I definitely won't be getting this one.

i played one 5 inning game so far its exactly what i expected, not bad but more fun as opposed to real, however it will be TONS of fun with other people.

it is in someways very similar to the gamecube game, No Online (STUPID!) and the single player game is looking very short,

Pitching Controls are a bit weak they should have spread out the motions a little more, but nonetheless they do the job in the end, the change ups are pretty cool it pretty much emulates pitches you would see in a slow pitch league, the ball comes in slow and reaches what looks like 7 feet and slowly drops accross the plate

Batting controls have some minor issues so far but it could be me getting used to it, i just found if you dont swing early enough the ball will fly by you and your player wont even budge, the timings a little off but you get used to it.

Graphics are solid for the Wii
Music is very annoying and loud there isnt an option at least in game to turn it down or off

Overall outta 5 at a first glance im thinking 3.5/5
however if you have a bunch of people who will play it it will satisfy in a big way im thinking in Dorm Roomish enviroments this game would Thrive HUGE

This game is made for one thing and one thing only Multiplayer battles

It's a fun game, but if you didnt like the one for GC this wont change your mind.
