    Just got ASB..interesting first game

    I my first game I got 1 hit but beat the Jays 4-1. They walked me I think a total of 11 times! I sqeaked one run in early on a groundout. And then in the top of the 9th, after them walking the bases loaded, I with 2 outs Rondell White hit a 3 run double.

    So far, I don't like the batting. Curser batting seems pretty much the same as last year, not good. Haven't tried zone yet. Whats it like? I heard its like High Heat, but I've never played High Heat. How does it work exactly?

      ^ You just press the direction of where the ball is going, and swing.

              Have you tried the classic cursor? I love that one the best. Zone hitting goes like this.
              You break the strike zone up into 9 zones. Up and In, Up, Up and awat etc... You push you analog/dpad in that zone to hit the ball.

              So, if you are batting right handed and the pitcher throws one low and inside you will have to push down/left to hit that zone. Follow me?

                              Well it is not a 3d cursor like the normal one is. The 3d cursor you can use the right analog stick and change it around. You can also choose between power and normal. For the classic cursor, you just have to hit the ball right with a guy with some power to get homeruns. Also make sure you have exaggerated pitches on, it makes hitting a bit easier as it slows the pitches down some.

                                              I don't like classic cursor because nearly everytime you hit the ball it goes in the air and I hit WAY too many doubles using the classic cursor.

                                                      I hit a lot of doubles too...but, my leading double guy, Robert Fick with 12 is still not the league leader. I think Vidro has 16 or so.

                                                      The more games with classic cursor, the more types of hits i get. I drive to the gaps, a few to the wall, and some nice clean infield hits. There's nothing like thinking you are about to get beat on a low outside curveball and leaning across the plate to bloop it into the opposite field.
