    OOTP Developer Q&A (Gameshark)

Gameshark has posted a Q&A session with Markus Heinsohn, of OOTP fame.

Gameshark: "Sports simulations often require an extraordinary amount of detailed testing. What are the biggest obstacles for your development team in regards to making sure that your games are tested to the fullest extent possible?"

Markus: "I do not think we have found the perfect approach for testing the game yet. Of course, the more testers the better, but too many can become a hassle as well, especially when you try to follow the discussions on the beta forums. For several years we have been using professional bug logging software. That has helped tremendously with logging, organizing and fixing problems. I cannot believe that we did testing without it for so many years."

Port it to 360 (or PS3) asap, and I'm back on board. I used to love OOTP back in the day. But in those same days I had to sit in a friend's basement and use a phone modem in order to get "on line." Football Manager and now NFL Head Coach have become (somewhat) successful in the US console market, so why not port the "national pastime" already? With Xbox Live / the 360 it can even remain download only (think SWOS).

      No offense...but I don't get it.
You are so limited on the console.
You get none of the modding that you get with the PC version. There is SO MANY excellent additions to OOTP it's not even funny, why would you want to lock yourself out of that?
