    Baseball for the Wii

I was wondering what is the best baseball game for the Wii console.
I enjoy the managing aspect the most so a game with "Manager Mode" is what I am looking for. The only Wii baseball games that I can find are "MLB Power Pros" and "Major League Baseball 2K8" and I can't find any info about "Manager modes"
    Any info would be great...

Best option is MLB Power Pros, its suprisingly very very deep, (lots of reading)
It looks like a PS2 game and for the most part is, but it runs smooth and has soo much depth to it it will keep you busy.
other than that, like you mentioned theres 2k8 which is a horrible experience it also looks like PS2 but even worse especially "playing wise" but it does have some Managerial depth it as well.

Other ball games are just for fun, IE MLB sluggers (or something to that effect) The Bigs, Little League World Series, and the most fun I found to play which is Mario Super Sluggers.

If I could reccomend something it would probably be power pros, it looks like a wii game the players look like Mii's but again it has ALOT of depth in all aspects.

only other option is to wait for MLB front office but I think that may only be a PS3/360 game however it will be coming out for PC as well garunteed so if you have a PC computer not a Mac I suggest waiting for that. that should satisfy all your Managerial desires.

Power Pros is one of the deepest, most polished games I've ever played. Absolutely phenomenal.

I am getting a Wii for Christmas.
So I also will be getting some baseball games.
I think Power Pros is really tight I played some on a friends.
            I think I might try MLB 2k8.
But I wasn't a huge fan on the 360 for it.

2k8 on Wii was like 2k6 for PS2/original xbox mixed with the ammount of HR's you'd hit in 2k7.

it wasnt satisfying at all really, I got kicks out of playing HR Derby and the pitching was kinda neat but really it wasnt very fun to be honest. However if 2K puts more focus into there upcoming ball games for Wii it could be awesome someday unfortunatley i dont see it happening in 2k9 there are pretty far off, almost as far off as they were for the Next Gen one

I agree. Do you have Power Pros or Power Pros 2008?

If you like those games and have a PS2, you should import Pro Yakyuu Spirits 5 for the PS2. It's a similar engine to power pros but with real players in the Japanese League. They are actually coming out with a "perfect version" of Pro Yakyuu Spirits 5. It's called Pro Yakyuu Sprits 5 Kanzen Ban for PS2 and PS3.

Anyway, the PS2 games are great. You should wait for about 3 weeks and and import Kanzen Ban when it comes out. It should be an incredible game on the PS2. (and PS3 probably, too)

Power Pros is one of the best baseball games ever made. Buy either edition (2008 is slightly better), thank us later.

I have both on the Wii. Wish I could get one of those Japanese imports, but it would be irrelevant for me because I don't know anything about the Japanese leagues.
